World Health Organization’s (WHO) Global Pandemic Treaty

The Biden Administration wants the U.S. to join the World Health Organization’s (WHO) new global pandemic treaty. In fact, at the end of May, President Biden plans to officially enter the agreement.

The WHO agreement would undermine U.S. sovereignty, giving WHO the right to declare future pandemics, as well as the authority to direct and coordinate international pandemic health policies. It would also rob the U.S. of important resources, requiring that we surrender a minimum of 20 percent of our “pandemic-related products” to WHO for global redistribution.

The United Kingdom has publicly rejected the WHO agreement—an example the U.S. should follow. Republican senators and 22 state attorneys general agree and have already written to President Biden urging him not to join this agreement.
