Save the Filibuster
Democrats including the President of the United States are attempting to change the Senate rules to eliminate the filibuster.
If the filibuster is eliminated, there will be virtually no check on legislative power in Washington, DC. It would allow the majority party to ram radical legislation through the Senate with ease.
We have made it easy for you to contact your senators today and encourage them to reject any changes to the legislative filibuster.
Currently, the Senate requires 60 votes to pass legislation. This causes both parties to collaborate in order to craft bills that appeal to large groups of Americans.
Without the filibuster, whichever party has even a simple Senate majority will have unbridled power to pass extreme, partisan legislation.
