Tell State Farm to Stop Indoctrinating Young Children with Sexual Materials
State Farm recently launched an effort to place children’s books that promote transgender and other sexual identities into libraries across the nation, including school libraries. This program was specifically aimed at young children, as young as 5-years-old. The insurance giant committed $40,000 as well as the efforts of hundreds of staff volunteers to distribute the books.
In response to the backlash from both customers and independent State Farm agents across the nation, the corporate office has announced it has ended its partnership with GenderCool (one of the most radical groups under the LGBT umbrella) to distribute the books. The company sent out its chief diversity officer, Victor Terry to try to deal with the backlash. While announcing that the company would end its partnership with GenderCool, Terry went on to say “we will continue to explore how we can support our associates, as well as organizations that align with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, including the LGBTQ+ community.”
While the company has tried to back away from the controversy, it has also gone out of its way to include statements about its continued commitment to “inclusion and diversity.” The insurance giant needs to hear from people like you, especially if you are a State Farm customer.
